Sheltered housing community landscape design
The challenge
A private development on a coastal, mid Devon, urban location required a landscape for a retirement community which offered a secure, sensory-rich social landscape combined with opportunities for private space.
What we did
We evolved and implemented the masterplan in partnership with Paul Humphries architects to include a ‘village green’ garden core to the site with a surrounding ring of dwellings offering private gardens, courtyards and deck.
The result
The scheme has gained planning approval and is at present going through detailed design development.
