Poundstock Guildhouse Access Evaluation
Access Statement for HLF application
The challenge
The Poundstock Guild House case study illustrates the requirement of any historic building or landscape to demonstrate its approach toward the provision of inclusive access, as part of a process of funding application to the Heritage Lottery Fund toward refurbishment.
What we did
In his role as Program Manager / Inclusive Designer to the Sensory Trust, Mike Westley, as part of the project team comprising architects, historic conservation specialists and ecologists, carried out inclusive access site evaluation and case study analysis, research and methodology development toward the production of the Access Report, following the guidance set out by HLF.
The result
A successful application to HLF produced.
