Family garden design
The challenge
The site is a steep hillside overlooking a picturesque Cornish coastal town. The architect client has designed their own landmark, contemporary home. They wanted both a place for their whole family of two children and a dog to have space to play, as well as provision for private spaces within the gardens and water, as well as ideas of how to maximise the fine views. There was also a need for a vegetable patch.
What we did
We developed a masterplan and detailed ground modelling plan for the site that has created a series or terraces and secret garden spaces with follies and pools, each with its own special view out over water and landscape.
The result
